We Need To Get This Movie In Theatres: Mooz-lum

Yesterday I was on facebook adn I came across and ad for a movie and I said hmm lets see and I all i have to say is this the trailer is RTLOHOPHYTEOYHLOY so in other words the trailer is soo amazing and the movie looks beautiful. With actors such as Danny Glover, Evan Ross, and Nia Long (tell me when was the last time you saw her acting) I feel like this movie is going to be one to remember. Basically the whole premise of the movie is about a muslim boy named Tyrique (Evan Ross) going through the ups and downs post 9/11.  Not the best direction but honestly the trailer is the bomb diggity you should check it out. Also please support and demand this movie in your local theatre its about time that we have a movie like this that makes us tolerant of all people we are in the 21st century and people are still ignorant!

You Don't Know What You Got Til Its Gone

I want to write this post without shedding a tear but by the time I am done one will roll from my eye. . .

Today is the anniversary of the man, the myth, and the legend Tupac "2pac" Amaru Shakur death in Las Vegas, Nevada after dying from the injuries he sustained. Tupac has influenced all of us at one point of our lives, I personally think he is the only rapper that most parents would allow their kids to listen to (minus the curses) he spoke alot of truth and didn't hold any punches. And its mind-blogging to me how 14 years could have possibly past and nothing has been done to solve this crime, this is more than a black man dead, but an amazing soul and a highly articulate human being taken away from the world. I was about 6 or 7 years old when he died, but I will tell you when he died I knew things wouldn't be the same and trust me it hasn't been. There are only a few gems that come into our lives and bring something new and he was one of them. Til this day I am heartbroken because the reality is that we will never have another Tupac. Yes he was troubled soul, but he was taken away too early and didnt have the time to mature and grow. Like they say some people are blessed enough to have a mission they must complete that will bring an infinite impact, but must leave when their mission is complete. From his beautiful smile, to his charismatic lyrics, and amazing acting skills, Tupac Amaru Shakur will never be forgotten. We love you && we miss you. #THUGLIFE

"When Will The Violence Cease When Your Troops Stop Shooting Niggas Down In The Street"

"A Quiet Spot For You To Do Me In The Dark/Now That Its Passion Hold Me Tight Don't Need Lights I Can See You By The Moonlight" [Note: This Song Gives Me Chills, Oh Maan]

"Say What Yu Say But Give Me That Bomb Beat From Dre && Let Me Serenade The Streets of L.A."

It Was Only Nine Years Ago . . .

Today is the 9 year anniversary of 9/11, the day that changed all of our lives forever. I will never forget this day because I had just started my new elementary school and I was already scared about starting school and this tragedy didn't make it any better. But I will say in that day we seen a lot of human compassion and people get off their high horse to not only think about others but to feel and dispell emotion. Its sad that many of times it takes tragedy to bring us together, but sometimes thats what has to happen. Although in that month we were all brought closer together, muslims were driven away because of ignorance and prejudice. It has been nine years and to be hnest nothing has really changed, but this isn't a post to bash anybody but to remember those who were lost, whether they were inside the twin towers, on the planes, or were brave fire fighters and police officers attending to the call of duty. Rest in Paradise to all of you and we are praying for all of your families.

Reema Major & Willow Smith: These Young Girls Are Here To Destroy && Conquer

1. Reema Major

I was showing my boy about this young girl she is a beaaassst! Mind you she is only 15 years old and she is already rapping circles around some of these men out here. This girl is DEFINETLY more than a talent she is GOD-GIFTED! With the release of her mixtape Youngest in Charge that dropped last fall along with her being feature on the single Swagberry Look with JJ Money tearing up the clubs out for this young girl because I think with a few more years and a little more growth and grooming she is going to crush alot of these rappers. [Note I didn't say female rappers, thats how talented I think she is]

2. Willow Smith

Seriously, I think when two talented people come together and have kids, their kids have no choice but to be great and surpass their parents. And that is how I feel when it comes to the Smith kids, Jada and Will have created some amazingly talented children, first Jaden, now Willow who is currently sign to Jay-Z's label Roc Nation. Her single "Whip My Hair" that has leaked is a banger I must say, for a nine year old she has a bright future ahead of her and with the great parents that she has it will be Sky's The Limit.

Everything Is A Vessel, It All Depends On How It Is Used

Disclaimer: If You Don't Have An Open Mind or If Youtube Is Your Only Source of Education This Post Is Not For You. . .Let's Begin

I will start by saying this I want to work in the music industry and I want to be a black female mogul. Now with that being said let us talk about all the recent success that rap has had, but with anybody that is doing good (I find it especially with black musical artists) when they reach a certain point of success it can't be credited to them or they will be bashed for it. In terms of rap music it has gone through many battles including between the years of 1992-1995 where rap music was being put under microscope and being banned and what have you. Now lets fast forward the times, one of the biggest acts of our time, Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce and anybody that seems to be associated with them is a. . . . . .#drumrollplease. . . .a devil worshipper/illuminati/freemason. Now before everybody starts talking crazy, has anybody sat there and thought for a second about these accusations?

I'm going to start by saying, "He who is without sin, may cast the first stone", now tell me what you think that means. Many of us will run around saying "only God can judge me" and will rip apart people for judging a person without knowing them, but as soon as someone wants to call somebody a devil worshipper we are all for it. For the Christians that are quick to bash somebody about being a devil worshipper, why are you not as quick to talk to these people and get to know them or even try to figure out why people are willing to essentially "sell their souls" to have a life of riches and fame. Not to mention as a Christian why are you looking so intently for evil, if anything you need to be looking for the good and trying to find another way to love. And let us not forget at the end of the day you need to treat people the way you want to be treated therefore accusing someone or implying about something that you have no idea about is not only of poor judgement but of poor character as well.

As for the secular people that only like to call on God when someone is called a devil worshipper I would like to say Thank the Lord you people are not reverends in the pulpit because it is people like you that make me go, "are you serious right now?". Where the hell do some of you get off wanting to call someone a devil worshipper and crucify them but will still be having pre-marital sex, drinking, be at the club every week etc etc etc. Now that statement is not to point fingers at people but this is to offer a different perspective as to how people see things. You can't possibly be trying to call someone a devil worshipper or some type of secret society, but yet you are basically doing the devil's will. You guys are what I would like to call Sunday Christians, I would explain but i think it is pretty self explanatory.

This foolishness with the all seeing eye and blah blah did anybody know that some of it is egyptian mythology and beliefs, so if someone decides to take certain aspects of it and change the meaning and representation obviously people are going to think certain way of it. Even know with the Power video by Kanye West alot of people are saying there are free mason symbols, but has anybody ever stopped to listen to the words of the song and correlate it with the video itself (No I didn't think so). And let me not forget that the music video consists of different paintings that had particular representations to the message he was trying to convey. But yet many of us are so quick to be suckered in by what any self righteous youtuber or conspiracy theorist is willing to say. Sometimes I feel for such a technological generation we are a bunch of heediots, because lets put into consideration that this may be all a distraction, so that when our government officials are doing reckless shit we are too distracted by trivial nonsense that we are not seeing what the real problem is. Some people need to read up on Karl Marx and his Manifesto as well as to read George Orwell's 1984 instead of crediting youtube videos and ridiculous sites as credible information.

To wrap up this post I would like to end of by saying that this type of irrational thinking is not good because you can not believe any and everything you hear or see, with everything you have to take it with a grain of salt. This is exactly like the salem witch hunts back in the day people would be accused of being a witch (whether it was true or not) and then would be burned at the stake or if the accused were able to get away they would obviously have to leave town. This is soo dangerous in the means that nobody is safe and unless someone is willing to try and think for themselves this shit will never end. Shoot me for being so optimistic, but I don't think anything is virtually evil but I do believe everything is a vessel therefore depending on how it is used is what will make the difference.

Introducing: Anthony Bishop a.k.a. Tony Buzin

No Introduction. . .Ladies && Gentleman Tony Buzin ! [Remember The Name]

"Burn These Niggas Like A Blunt And Flick Them Off Like Roaches"

Whatever Happened To New York Rap?

Disclaimer: This Ain't A Diss Post, Its A Real Post

Ok people let's be real its been a minute since we heard a bumping tune or something new out of New York or anywhere in the East Coast for that matter and it is kind of disappointing. Not to say that I hate southern rap but let's be honest some of the shit that comes out of the South is very. . .ummm. . .hmmm. . .not always pleasing to my ears and comes off as very reptitive. Literally I feel like the only thing that I hear come out of New York is Jay-Z, so if you had any qualms about Jigga being the King of New York this is the time where I feel that he is carrying the city on his back. But moving along, I think the lack of NY rap is a very big problem because it serves as a balance in terms of the genre. But there are two reasons as to why I think that NY rap is in a serious decline and here goes:

1. The Lack of Ability To Adapt
Yes we all know that NYC more specifically the Bronx is the birthplace of rap and that it belongs to New York etc etc. But at the same time it seems as if they feel that they dont have to adapt to anything or change things because most people feel that because rap was originated in NYC there is no need to adapt to anything or to switch it up or maybe sometimes grow up. OR if there is someone who wants to adapt they do a terrible terrible terrible job example: Ron Browz ! [Lawd that was a disaster]

2. There Is No Unity
OK let's be honest the last time we seen a unity record with all New York natives was when Ja Rule put out the record New York and even then it started problems because 50 Cent wanted to bring his highschool shit! And before that the last project was the QB collaboration, [Oochie Wally was the tuneeee!] and that says alot because the time period between these two collaborative efforts is quite the stretch. And then people wonder why they are not ruling the airwaves as they should

and last but surely not least

3. With Too Many Heavyweights There Are Too Many Egos
Yea I said it! Some of the rappers that we all love and adore are way too into themselves to realize that HEY! the music business and the future of rap is bigger than what YOU want and what YOU need or how YOU FEEL you should be treated or your legacy. This is more than trying to be the King of New York or the East Coast or whatever, people need to get it together and bring that good old music back and show why they are the heavyweights.

As you can see I am a fan of real hip hop not to say that there arent any good south rappers because trust me there are rappers like Andre 3000, Jay Electronica, J.Cole, Big Boi, etc that would rap circles around some people. But nonetheless the re-emergence of New York rap is sooo needed right now, especially with the new wave of coke sniffin' based dougie hittin' pretty boy swaggers. #YIKES !

Its More Than A Birthday

It's my birthday today and I would like to say that although I am not totally ecstatic to be 20 years old I am extremely grateful for being able to live another year. I would like to say that in one year a lot has happened to me some good some bad and I am grateful for the experiences that I have gone through not to mention the people that I have grown up and I have met. I have learned to embrace whatever life throws my way because at the end of the day I am blessed no matter how hard it can get. There has been alot of older mentors and friends that have come into my life that I am soo grateful for that I wouldn't change anything for the world. Thanks to everybody that had made a positive impact on my life: my friends, my family and my mentors. I don't have enough words to express to you that at 20 years of age I am living a life that some people will never grasp nor understand but I'm glad I had people in my corner backing me up. This is not a happy birthday to me this is a celebration of the people who have contributed to the 20 years of life I have lived so far.

Thank You,
Vanessa Naadu Yaya Adams

Gone Too Soon: Michael Jackson

Michael Joseph Jackson August 29 1958-June 25th 2009

Its been a year later and it still seems unreal I never thought I would shed a tear over a celebrity but honestly it happened. Michael Jackson is one of the greatest entertainers of all time not to mention he was a wonderful human being with all his humanitarian efforts. In the back of our minds we all thought this man would live forever and be a reminder to the generations that come after us. Although he is gone in the physical form his spirit will live forever and ever. We love you and we miss you Michael, I hope you are keeping the big man upstairs entertained.

#Pause. . .Wildin #2

When I seen this video I didn't know what to say to myself other than if I were his girlfriend I would've broken up with his ass at that moment. I hate it when grown women and men scream over Michael Jackson (R.I.P.) although he was the most talented and HUMBLE human being on the face of this planet. This dude right here needs to get mollywoped for this tom foolery.

PAUSE: So you came from New Jersey to New York to come see Drake #meh that's a bit of pass. I'm not gonna talk about how he needs to cut his hair with all that damn hair on his head

WILDIN': OMG did this fool just start crying ! Honestly I hate the word no homo but if I were him I would've used it to save whatever dignity I had left.

The revolution is now being televised: A new breed of female

Twitter Beef Is For Lames

Bird Ass Peeps I Don't Mean To Ruffle Your Feathers

Twitter in concept is probably not the most complex concept in terms of social networking but its quite revolutionary in the sense that it offers more of an intimate connection with friends, family, and even celebrities. Believe me people 140 characters go along way but at the same time I have seen 140 characters turn into a full ledge battle royal on the internet. Since I have been on twitter I have seen local Toronto yutes go at it [mainly girls], celebrities get at fans [Wale v. haters], and our own Toronto artists [Page vs. Drake (and their associates)]. As entertaining as these things maybe has anybody ever thought about this interesting concept called:

CREDIBILITY

Think about it I'm sorry I have a problem believing people are real, the validity of the story, or even you as a person. I don't know maybe the way I grew up is a bit different but I don't think it is necessary to take your beef to the internet because at the end of the day it only makes and the person look stupid as shit. It actually frightens me how someone can call another person an e-thug and you are fighting back with them on the internet. The shit is soo unreal not to mention I think making threats is not even a good look like do people forget that law enforcements LIVE on the internet and social networking sites. [Yu guys are basically dry snitching on yourselves] If anything were to ever happen to the person you were threatening I guarantee they will be knocking down your door first. #justsayin Not only that it only breeds unnecessary tom foolery.

At the end of the day fighting on a social network when you know you are using it to come in contact with other people that might further career and you are acting like a total arse it totally defeats the purpose of what you are doing. In this life its the people that you don't know that see everything and they are the ones that hold the most power so when people are acting like they have no sense, it will hurt you in the end. At the end of the day social networking sites are suppose to be fun. But when used to fight with someone you look like a complete fool no matter if your are in the wrong or in the right.

You're One Of The Man Dem

One Of The Man Dem && I

So the last time I was in a relationship was two years ago, and before than a year before. As you can see I am not keen on relationships unless I really like someone or I plan on taking it very seriously. Now I know that being yourself is the ultimate way to attract somebody, but I dont know what it is that I do that I become one of the "boys". And this crazy shit usually happens when I am really into a guy and then after a while I lose the feelings of attraction because they do become my friends. [Just so everybody knows that is not the case with all my guy friends]. I tweeted about this not to long ago so I had to address the issue starting by saying

I AM NOT ONE OF THE BOYS, I AM A FEMALE

Don't take this the wrong way it's just that you know what some days I want to be treated like a female, alot of the time I don't want to hear about what girl you had sex with it. And when I say hello female standing here, dont shoo my answer and say, "Naw but you cool though, you are like one of the man dem". . .yu get an automatic one of these -___- #dontplaywithme. Not that I dont like being one of the "man dem" but I think because I am always around yu brute mofos I forget how the hell to be a female #YIKES! Therefore, making me a little to real and will forever be stuck in The Friend Zone (song by 88 keys youtube it).

One of the craziest things that was ever said to me was by one of my older brother's close friend he said, "Vanessa you will never have a man because you just know to much". At first I was really offended but I look back at that and laugh with a bit of a sting, is that really going to be my reality or am I just reading into things a little too hard. I know that this doesn't happen to just me but it happens to others. Don't take this as a complaint or me wanting a relationship it's just a rant . . . #kanyeshrug. But I still proudly take on the role of one of the man dem until I find a dude that's not one of the man dem. . .did that make sense?

Speak On It!

#Pause. . .Wildin'

So I guess I am going to start a new segment on my blog called #Pause. . .Wildin you got #cmonson and #things that make you go hmm so why cant I have my own (well the term was originally created by myself nd Yhentl). Now for the rest of the segment, I was watching the "Give Me The Business" by Yung Berg and I sat there so offended that I had to laugh. Its the classic story of boy has a grrlfriend and his love interest has a boyfriend, so they most rendevous and give each other the business now here is where I pause. . .

PAUSE: Soo Berg is dating a dark skin female and his light skin love interest is dating a dark skin dude but the two light skins are obviously interested in each other.

Now I said to myself well it can't be that bad maybe its just me, but clearly its a whole complexion obsession undertone not to mention I didn't understand why the boyfriend has to be darkskin to add some type of diversity what-the-fuck-ever

WILDIN: Personally the dark skin grrl in the video was better lookin than the light skin girl and no I am not hating I have light skin friends that will eat that chick's food. . .but what amazed me more about this video that I had to say wildin is the fact that he used his transformer chain as a sort of bird call to get the girl skip to 2:05-2:08 #tomfoolery

So to end off I would like to say sometimes as consumers we must be careful of who we let in the game then we have a bunch of dark butts and light butts and a porch monkey by the name of Yung Berg

Enjoy

Hey Mama

"There's No Way I Can Pay You Back, But The Plan Is To Show Yu That I Understand, You Are Appreciated"--Dear Mama x 2pac

Hello on this wonderful Sunday to all my blog readers and I hope that yu are enjoying this with your lovely mothers, grandmothers, aunties, etc. I would just like to start off by saying that I want to wish everybody and the important women in their lives a Happy Mother's Day. Although it is Mother's Day it doesn't mean that yu need to only show affection that day for your mother everyday is mother's day. Also I would like to give a special shoutout to the young mothers that are taking GOOD care of their children and trying to make the best of their own lives. Being a mother is not the easiest task but Lord knows that they try to the best of their ability to be great mothers no matter what the age. Last but not least I want to say Thank You to my mother I dont know where I would be without her love that lady to death whether or not she gets on my last nerve. So here are a few songs that show a woman's worth.

The Up & Coming Females (I Use That Loosely) v. Nicki Minaj

Shoutout to my boy Bishop for putting the link up on facebook but yea i feel that this shit had to be addressed once and for all !

OK if yu havent been on worldstarhiphop these last couple of weeks there have been people that have been trying to get at Nicki Minaj and my cases in point are Keys and Gloria Valez. Most people are excited because there might be a female rap battle on wax and some people are excited because they dont like Nicki Minaj. Now for me I have been listening to Nicki Minaj since I was grade 11 this pre the Harajuku Barbie shit so I know what type of work she is capable of therefore for the people that simply hate her because of what she is doing now need to go do some research before talking crap. Now the reason why I don't respect either women when it comes to them coming at Nicki Minaj is that they are piggybacking off her success. Now to break down why both Gloria and Keys are wack in my eyes [Disclaimer: Not A Nicki Dick Rider But Nicki Gets It In].

First Case: Keys
Now dont get me wrong about the chick that chick can spit but lets be for real here this chick is mad because Nicki said that she annihilated every chick in the game and Keys feels that she wasn't annihilated. My grrl sit your ass down yu were not even relevant enough and nobody knew who yu were to begin with there therefore your ass is irrelevant when it comes to the female rap game. If yu really felt a way about Nicki Minaj yu would've gotten at her when she was on the slow grind and bot wait til she blows up to say something, RELAX! Not to mention yu honestly made a video for the same freestyle yu spit where yu were running out of breath doing! Before yu get on anybody make sure yu can keep up with ur flows instead of running out of breath. So I suggest running on a treadmill and rapping. I'm just sayin!

Second Case: Gloria Valez
Now this chick has been saying she has been rapping since before Nicki was Nicki Minaj, so therefore she has no excuse to not blowing up because everybody knew who she was prior to her wanting to be a "rapper". This chick has been in music videos since before I hit 6th grade so what is she really trying to pull right now. She had so much exposure and enough man power to get it together but she didnt make noise. SO what are yu mad about? Not to mention on her Roger Dat freestyle her flow was off beat to the damn instrumental my grrl what are yu trying to prove, RELAX! And seriously talking about her fake ass and titties yea yu are still not winning, go sit under an umbrella. So instead of talking about how yu got ur cooch tended to by another female when yu were in Cancun I think yu shud be working on ur flows a little bit more and put out a mixtape. I'm just saying #sighsandshrugs

Now these chicks I feel that Nicki doesnt need or have to respond. Why? Because they are not even on the same level. I respect Nicki more than these basic chicks because Nicki came up by herself without having to diss nobody and had confidence in her skills. Just because she says she annihilated every chick in the game is not something to take literal its for people to take her in and see why she feels that she is the best and why yu shud b on her team. Now these chicks really want Nicki to respond but lets face it Nicki is Filet Mignon and these chicks are a happy meal they are not on the same menu, so it can't gwan. Its like Jay-Z responding to the Game's "disses" it just makes no sense when yu reach a certain point in ur career why r yu going to stoop down to a next person's level give me a break. If someone like Foxy, Kim, Trina, Eve, Lauryn Hill, Remy Ma, Rah Diggah were to say something then that's when I feel that she would NEED to respond. Like really who the fuck is Gloria Valez or Keys? #WACK!

For some people that hate on Nicki I must say yu only put more money on her pocket cuz the reason as to why she does this is to get your attention. She is soo calculated its not even funny, so people keep falling for her marketing tricks, and yu will still be wondering why she is sooo successful.

Shyne Yu Can't Tell Me 10 Years In The Bin Did This To Yu

Back from Hiatus. . .

Seriously I am like a FAN of Shyne like borderline obsessive and believe me when yu listen to his earlier stuff yu become a believer and I am not talking about Bonnie && Shyne or Bad Boy (which both featured one of my fav reggae artists Barrington Levy), he was seriously talented. Now take in the fact that I said he WAS talented, because before he went to the bin he had people wanting to be a Bad Boy again and dare I say it we haven't seen that sing the days of the Bad Boy && The Family Dynasty Pre && Post Notorious' Death. He was soo promosing but his career was cut short because of a shooting at a NY night club. I would go into the specifics but that's not important, fast forward he has been in the been for 10 years and believe me the Godfather was gully and kind of kept the public saying ok he is still on top of his shit (even though some songs were recorded over the jail telephone LMAO). But yu know after 10 years in the bin and then being released only to be deported back to your Native land of Belize, I know Shyne (but now going by Moses Levy) must've been feeling a way, just as his fans were, because to keep it all the way 100 it wasn't fair. So after 10 years you would think that he would have some epic shit to say or his rapping skills would be phenemonal. . .WRONG WRONG WRONG! Honestly I don't know what to say but seriously because I am in a state of denial I will say that the B.S. that has his voice sounding all crazy and his rhymes below average is that he is fatigued and its all a warm up or maybe he forgot to rap. I'm sorry the freestyles and songs that he is featured on as of late have been beyond mediocre dare I say it, it's horrible! But I have faith in my future hubby (yea I said it) that he will come back and shut up the naysayers (seriously, Shyne, Shyne Po, Po, Moses w/e yu call yourself these days). But here is some of his latest work. . .You Be The Judge!

Not Impressed But I Styll Love Shyne or Shyne Po or Po or Moses Levy :)

When Icons Die They Take The Music With Them #R.I.P. Guru

So I woke up this morning after a late night and I heard about the death of the founding member of Gangstarr, Guru. He had cancer for a while now but didn't want the public to know but before dying he had written a letter confirming that he had cancer and tried to use all treatments that were available to him, but to no avail. Honestly, I am saddened by this because there goes another icon of music dead, but for one lost there is another gain. Through this there is another generation that can get to know him and his music will live on. Although his death was flooded with controversy, it is his music and his spirit that we must remember. There will be no one like Guru. My condolences go out to his family, friends, and fans alike R.I.P. Guru you will truly be missed.

Some of my favourite Gangstarr songs of all time

Music Time :)

Sooo alot of people when complimenting me on my blog have talked about the music that will be playing in the background, so I decided to take it upon myself to take you on a little trip of all the recent music that is on my ipod that I know you will love some of the mixtapes/albums that I am listening to and I will be giving yu some tracks on mixtapes/albums to look out for.

Starting Off With Some of The New Ones

Shut Up && Listen by Shanell [Twitter Page @Shanell_SnL)
I'm going to be honest when I heard about this chick being on Young Money I wasn't impressed nor what to expect and honestly I felt that she was trying too hard to be "different" with the nose earing embellishment. But what intrigued me about her was when I heard a snippet of her singing on a Skit for the No Ceilings Mixtape I was like hmm maybe she can sing. I have listened to the mixtape and I'm telling yu it is soo worth the listen. Just click on the photo to download the mixtape.

Seared Foie Gras With Quince Cranberry by Asher Roth [Twiiter Page @AsherRoth)
I am not the biggest Asher Roth fan but please believe I do like his music his Greenhouse Effect mixtape was a banger but when his album Sleeping In The Bread Aisle came out I wasn't all that impressed. Now with the release of his mixtape Seared Foie Gras with Quince Cranberry (which I still want to know why he named it that) it proves why he got signed and why he was a XXL Freshman of '09. This mixtape is sooo LiiVE I listen to it in its entirety there is no real throw away song. His mixtape is sort of feature heavy I personally think he could've done it all by himself effortlessly but MEH!

One Verse One Hearse by Tory Lanez (Toronto Stand Up) (Twitter Page @TLanez]
Like I Said Toronto Stand The F*&^ Up, this dude right here, this dude right here, is gonna be giving alot of dudes a run for their money because on some real shit this dude is talented. One Verse One Hearse is not a game like seriously the name of the mixtape suits the content on the mixtape. Lanez jus takes some of today's rap hits and kills it with one verse, he is young but he is mad talented and he is the dude to look for. Like I always say Toronto is a very talented city we just waiting to kick the door open, Drake aint the only one that can spit a hot 16.

XXL's Top 10 Freshman for '10 Mixtape by Various Artists
Let me be quite frank when I seen who was the Top 10 Freshman for this year I was not impressed. AT ALL! Out of the 10 I only rated Nipssey Hu$$le, Big Sean (and I dont even really like him his voice is a bit annoying), Wiz Khalifa, and J.Cole. But after listening to the mixtape I can understand as to why they were on the cover. Do I think they bring anything new to the table? Not really. But are they talented in their own right and put together a banging mixtape. Yu dog'on skippy I agree. Alot of people are probably gonna disagree but I don't really care just make sure you have a good argument.
